750 wishes are waiting in the dark. Every donation lights one of them.
Every square below is one child’s Christmas wish. Some of them are in hospital, some in a children’s home, some in a family where the money barely covers food. By December this wall should be lit.

These are the wishes that keep coming up in previous years’ lists. The real wishes we collect in November from children’s homes and families. We never publish names, ages or anything else that could identify a child.
Who these children are
Three windows we send the light to
Every year we reach three groups. The numbers are this year’s plan. If we raise more, the list gets longer. The price of one present stays the same.

They do not get to go home for Christmas. We visit the children’s wards ourselves and hand the present to the child.

We grant their real gift wishes. One asks for headphones, another for LEGO, a third for warm winter gloves.

Large families and single parents, for whom a Christmas present means going without something else. We bring the gift bag straight to their home.

Why we are asking in August
In December it is too late to make a promise
A present a child receives in December has to be bought in November and packed in early December. Every early donation is one line we dare to write on the list. Only then can we ask the child what they wish for.

Sep–Oct · the wall starts to light up
We gather donations and agreements with companies. The more we have by then, the longer the list we can promise to hospitals and children’s homes.2
November · the wishes get a face
We collect the children’s real gift wishes and buy the presents. From that moment every covered square is tied to a specific child.3
December · the wall is lit
We pack and deliver: to hospitals, children’s homes and families across Estonia. With a team of volunteer elves.Light a wish

Every square is one child’s wish. If your company covers several at once, your block becomes its own area on the wall. Your name or logo stays on it for the whole campaign and goes into the final report. With an ordinary sponsor logo you cannot see what it was for. Here you can: as many wishes as you covered.

For your team
It does not have to be the whole company. Your own team is enough.
Ten wishes cost 400 euros. Split between twenty people that is 20 euros each. One person books it and gets the invoice, and the block on the wall carries your team’s name. It works just as well for a school class, a choir or a group of friends.
Copies a ready-made text you can paste into Slack, Teams or an email.
Companies pay by invoice. Write to us saying how many wishes you want to cover. We will send an invoice and reserve your block on the wall right away, even before the payment arrives. We can put the logo on the page within 24 hours.
Income tax incentive. Naerata Ometi MTÜ is on the list of NGOs with the income-tax incentive. A company can donate free of income tax up to 3% of its payroll või 10% of children year’s profit. More reaches the children than stays in your costs.
In the past, whole families’ gift lists have been taken on by, for example, the law firm Sorainen, the EBS school community ja the Eesti Metsameister team. Not looking to give money? Products for the gift bags or a whole children’s home’s wish list are just as welcome. Write to us and we will agree on the details.

Frequently asked questions
Where exactly does my donation go?
Into the Jõulunaeratus 2026 presents: buying them, packing them and delivering them to hospitals, children’s homes and families. Donations that come from this page carry their own reference in the payment report, so the campaign’s result can be read off unambiguously afterwards. At the end of the campaign we publish a summary.
Are the squares on the wall real children?
A square means one covered gift wish. There is no identifiable child behind it. The real wishes we collect in November from children’s homes and families, and they stay on our internal list. The page never shows a child’s name, age, place of residence or any health-related information.
Can I deduct the donation from my income tax?
Yes. Naerata Ometi MTÜ is on the list of non-profit associations with the income-tax incentive. As a private person you get the income tax back on the donated sum; as a company you can donate free of income tax up to 3% of your payroll or 10% of children year’s profit. We submit the data to the tax authority ourselves.
Can I give a thing rather than money?
You can. Toys, sweets, craft supplies, hygiene products and winter clothes all go into the gift bags. Write to toetus@naerataometi.ee and we will agree on what to bring and when.
Why are you asking for money before Christmas?
Because the present has to be bought first. If the money arrives in December, we no longer have time to turn it into a present. An early donation is what lets us make a promise to a child at all.
