What one ray does
Fifteen euros is not an abstraction
You set the price of a ray — usually 10–25 € for a person, 100–500 € for a company. These three examples come from real project budgets, not made up.

There are about ten active projects at a time, and you choose which one your sun supports. This is one example — so it is clear what the money really goes to.

Eeva is 73, Einar 75, their home is in Läänemaa. After Eeva's stroke and Einar's heart surgery there is no strength left to fix the house. Two outer walls are uninsulated. With her walker Eeva cannot get through the narrow front door on her own.

What if…
Where does the money go?
To the costs of the project you chose — exactly for the family or person you pick in the form. If you choose “Naerata Ometi's work in general”, the money goes wherever help is needed most right now.
What if the goal isn't reached?
Nothing bad. The money raised still goes to the project — the sun just isn't completely full. Not a single euro is returned or left sitting.
Can there be more rays than the goal?
Yes, and that is the point. The number is a goal, not a cap. If more people come, more rays come and the sun gets brighter. At a client day there could be two hundred.
Do I have to show my age?
No. You choose the number of rays — most people use their age, but a round number or the number of guests works too. You don't have to show the date either.
Does everyone have to give the same amount?
The sun's creator decides. On a fixed-amount sun everyone gives the same, and to give more you light several rays. On an open-amount sun everyone writes their own amount — a big company more, a small one less — and the ray lights up either way.
Can I make a private sun?
Yes. A private sun opens only by link and is not in any list or search. You can separately hide supporters' names or the amount raised — for an internal company collection, for instance.
Is the donation tax-deductible?
Yes. Naerata Ometi MTÜ has been on Estonia's list of income-tax-incentive organisations since 2010 — a private person can deduct the donation in their tax return.
Will I find out what happened to the money?
We show the project's progress on the project page and in our channels — that is where what got done is written. Each giver doesn't get a separate report by email, but the sun's page with the project link stays up.
