Taimi and her 16-year-old son need a safe home in Vinni municipality, Estonia. Together, we can help them begin a new chapter after difficult life events — with a home of their own and greater stability.
A wish to live independently again
Taimi Susi has held on to her determination and positive outlook through difficult times. A few years ago, she was unexpectedly attacked by the family dog. Her injuries were so severe that she lost an arm. Complex operations and a long recovery followed.
Her relationship later ended, and she had to leave her previous home. Taimi is currently staying temporarily with her daughters in a rented flat. She has four adult daughters and a 16-year-old son who is still studying.
Taimi hopes to find a modest, safe home for herself and her son in Vinni municipality. She wants to live as independently as possible, support her children and find work she can manage.
How can you help?
1. Donate towards a home
We are collecting donations to help Taimi and her son move towards a home of their own. Every donation opens up more possibilities for finding a suitable place to live.
The support we can provide will depend on the donations received. No specific property or fundraising target has been agreed yet. The housing solution will be chosen based on the funds raised and the options available.
2. Offer suitable housing in Vinni municipality
We welcome leads and offers for a suitable rental home, or a flat or small part of a house that could be purchased in instalments. Please contact Heiki if you know of an opportunity. If possible, include the location, price or rent, additional costs and terms.
3. Help Taimi find suitable work
Taimi is motivated to work. If you can offer a job in Vinni municipality with tasks and working arrangements that could suit her abilities, please get in touch. Include a description of the work, its location and working hours.
