Cätlin is raising her two daughters, aged 11 and 15, on her own in Pärnu County. A long period of sick leave and a necessary change of job left a gap in the family budget. She now has a new job, but the family needs one-off support to settle the rent arrears that built up.
Cätlin’s name has been changed to protect the family’s privacy.

A temporary setback and a chance to regain stability
Cätlin has supported her family through her work. Serious health problems forced her to take extended sick leave and, on medical advice, leave her previous job. In August she found work better suited to her health and signed a long-term employment contract.
The new job offers a way to improve the family’s finances, but she cannot make up the shortfall all at once. Her retired parents help with food when they can. The family needs support to pay the arrears owed to their landlord and move forward with greater stability.
Cätlin is also in contact with the local authority about more affordable housing. A social housing placement has not yet been confirmed.
What will donations support?
The financial goal of this project is to settle €663 in rent arrears. This is a specific, one-off need. Offers of clothing, school supplies and household items are collected separately.
Every contribution helps towards the goal. If you would like to donate an item, please contact Heiki first so we can check what the family still needs.
