Let’s give a single mother from Lääne County and her three children their confidence back!

Dear friends and supporters,

Some time ago we shared with you the story of Piia, a brave single mother of three from Lääne County, and her children. Your incredible kindness and willingness to help exceeded all our expectations. Thanks to you we raised over 1000 euros, which paid off the apartment loan and electricity debts that threatened the family’s home, and gave them back their priceless sense of security. Piia and the children are heartily grateful to every one of you!

Life, however, is unpredictable, and although that earlier great worry was overcome thanks to you, new and unexpected obstacles have appeared on Piia’s path. She is still actively looking for permanent work to secure a stable income for the family, but that takes time and persistence.

Despite the hardships, Piia has not given up for a moment. She has tried with her last resources to pay the family’s running bills and to keep food on the table for the children. Recently, however, she was struck by a sudden and painful health problem that required urgent treatment and tore a new hole in the family’s already scarce budget. Because of these unexpected expenses, coping with everyday costs has become extremely difficult.

Our new goal is to raise 500 euros. This amount would pay off the debts that have built up and give the family the breathing space and security they urgently need for the weeks ahead – covering the essentials of food and the children’s needs until Piia manages to find permanent work. We want to give her the chance to focus on her job search and on raising her children without worry.
